We collect some personal data such as name, email address, and in some cases for special purpose (ECER Congress), the ethnicity and religius. From the technical processes of our site we collect data such a demographic visitors and ip address’s for statistic reasons.

We collect this basic personal data, name, email, to interact better, with our visitors, and in special cases the ethnisity and religius for the needs of our organisation members. From the technical point of view we collect anonymous statistic data to improve the experience of our site and understand better from where the visitors come, and to give them support in any request they have.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

When you choose to use the contact form in “Contact Us” page or another form in different page, we ask some required basic personal information, such your name and email address, and in some cases ethnicity and religius group, for special purpose like the Congress meetings. We keep this information as long help us to communicate and interact with the visitors of the https://ecer-org.eu page and with religius groups and individual members of ECER. This informations is strongly private and respected and not shared with any third party outside of our Organisation.

Personal information, name, email, etc. are used only for the need to communicate with the interested visitors of the https://ecer-org.eu page (ECER) and are not disclosed or assigned in any way to third parties.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
